Jim has over 35 years of experience in marketing and strategic planning. Upon graduating from the University of Virginia’s Darden School with an MBA degree, Jim received his client-side training in Brand Management and Strategic Planning at the Pepsi-Cola Company, Nestle Foods, and AT&T.
Jim’s agency experience includes Alcone Marketing, part of the Omnicom family, where he held several positions in Marketing Strategy and Planning all focused on developing brand, consumer, shopper, and retailer insights and strategies. Alcone’s clients included Unilever, Pernod Ricard, Deutsch Family Wines, Sun Products, Bayer, California State Lottery, and many others. Since leaving Alcone in 2017 Jim has consulted on many projects for both clients and agencies.
